Job Summary

Community Rehabilitation Hospital North is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As an Academic Physiatrist - Inpatient Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized physical therapy plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized plans to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and strategies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Indiana
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
