As a Landscape Architect Client Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring the delivery of exceptional designs, presentations, and documentation, including the creation of proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project and Account Management
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow account managers on diverse project types and sizes.
  • Oversee landscape architecture and design projects, encompassing planning, site layout, and preparation of design documents and proposals.
  • Work alongside account management and operations teams on intricate projects of varying scales.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Serve as a mentor and advocate for design team members.
  • Partner with ownership and account managers to align on concept visioning and review design documents for quality assurance.
  • Prepare construction cost estimates and project proposals.
  • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Participate in interviews for potential projects.
  • Attend regular meetings to synchronize project plans and team initiatives.
  • Review project budgets and monthly financial reports.
  • Act as a design resource for project standards and departmental guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
  • Professional registration as a Landscape Architect in Wisconsin or the ability to obtain reciprocity promptly.
  • Collaborative team player with outstanding design, graphic, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in producing high-quality concept presentations and documentation sets.
  • Experience in project accounting with a proven track record of managing schedules and budgets.
  • Familiarity with construction administration and specifications.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management.
  • Proficient in both in-office and remote project management.
  • Knowledge of design software, including Dynascape, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and 3D modeling tools.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Suite Applications (or Google equivalents), PDF, and landscape management software.
