Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Associated Food Stores, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fills prescriptions accurately and efficiently, adhering to all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and resolves issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintains accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and customer interactions.
  • Assists with monthly CII audits and ensures compliance with all regulations.
  • Stocks pharmacy product orders and maintains inventory levels.
  • Trains new pharmacy technicians and adheres to state regulations regarding technician training and licensure.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT) in the State of Utah.
  • Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with customers and colleagues.
Environmental Factors:

Pharmacy Technicians may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and blood-borne pathogens.
