Join Our Eye Care Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at Collins Vision. This is a full-time position that requires travel to various locations in SWFL.

About the Job:

  • Inform patients about test procedures and explain how they will be affected during tests.
  • Obtain patient history, including chief complaint, past medical history, family history, and allergies.
  • Perform accurate documentation and measurement tasks, including visual acuity, confrontational visual fields, and refractometry.

The Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA/COT a plus)
  • Experience with EMR systems, Modernizing Medicine/EMA a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic personality with concern for patients' needs
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive work-ups efficiently

Compensation and Perks:

  • $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
