About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our Interventional Imaging team at Fairview Health Services. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and create high-quality diagnostic imaging in an interventional setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain patient care and participate in creating a culture of patient safety
  • Communicate with and educate patients regarding pertinent information during all aspects of procedures
  • Correctly operate equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines while identifying and responding to equipment problems
  • Apply established standards of aseptic technique during patient preparation, draping, and setup for all procedures
  • Ensure patient data integrity, perform examinations, identify relevant data from images accurately, and communicate pertinent data clearly to appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Assist radiologists with required catheter and wire manipulation while maintaining sterile technique
  • Demonstrate ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served

Required Qualifications:

  • Vocational/Technical training or Associate Degree in Diagnostic Imaging or related field
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience as an Interventional technologist
  • ARRT IR certification or successful completion within 18 months of hire
