Shannon Health is a leading healthcare provider, committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse Specialist.
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of professional level nursing duties under the general supervision of an RN Transfer Coordinator. Your primary focus will be on assisting with patient transfers and setting up ambulance transportation. You will also be responsible for maintaining an accurate and current Hospitalist rotation schedule and communicating with physicians and other departments regarding new patient admissions.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited program is required. A degree in Nursing (LVN) is also necessary. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required within 90 days of hire.
Salary and Benefits:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary estimated at $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching.
