About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sports Medicine Professional to join our team at Geisinger Healthplex. This role will provide care to athletes/patients in a preventive, emergency, and rehabilitative manner.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide Athletic Training Services to patients and contracted organizations as assigned.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and staffing for community events and related programming.
  • Support by covering other contracted schools or changing assignments.
  • Establish and maintain community relations and provide educational programs for coaches, athletes, and community members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree, preferably a Master's Degree, and be certified as a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) by the State of Pennsylvania. You should also possess Basic Life Support Certification and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification.

As a Sports Medicine Professional at Geisinger Healthplex, you can expect a competitive salary of $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
