We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Endocrinologist to join our team at the University of Missouri Healthcare. As a key member of our Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to our patients, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and contributing to our research efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting, with a focus on endocrinology and diabetes management.
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the classroom and clinical settings, with a focus on endocrinology and diabetes education.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects in endocrinology and diabetes, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and advancing the field.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices and guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism (BC/BE).
- Ability to obtain and maintain MO licensure.
- Excellent clinical and teaching skills, with a strong commitment to patient care and education.
- Strong research skills and experience, with a focus on endocrinology and diabetes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
