About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Financial Center Specialist at First Federal Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and manage customer accounts, process consumer loans, and refer customers to other staff members as needed.
- Capture and update customer information, including life events, pains, dreams, and goals.
- Follow up with new and existing customers to proactively manage relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Utilize tools and resources to prepare for customer interactions and conduct outreach calls as assigned by management.
- Develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Exercise authority to waive bank charges when warranted.
- Perform duties as required by location and maintain a working knowledge of computer equipment and banking systems.
- Stay up-to-date on bank products, services, business practices, trends, and industry information to provide innovative solutions to customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in customer service, preferably in a financial institution.
- Ability to work extended hours, sitting, and performing computer tasks.
