Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper calibration
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Radiology Technologist in the state of practice
- Certification in radiologic technology (CRT) or registered technologist (RT) designation
- 1+ year of experience in radiology, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to departmental policies and procedures
