About the Unit:
The Observation Unit is a 32-bed unit affiliated with the Emergency Department, observing patients expected to be in the hospital less than 24 hours. Nurses in this unit care for a variety of patients, including chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, and laparoscopic cholecystectomies.
