Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 3-5 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing facility, with 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, knowledge of safety regulations, FDA regulations, and GFSI Auditing Standards.
  • Certifications and Training: Certification in AIB, HACCP, PCQI, or other related programs, and in-depth knowledge of wet and dry sanitation in the baking industry.
Working Conditions

The Sanitation Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, heat, and extreme cold. The employee will be required to wear a slip-resistant safety steel toe shoe and work in temperature-controlled environments of -10 to 85 degrees.

Physical Demands

The Sanitation Operations Manager will be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally be required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
