Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Hand Therapy Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert hand therapy services to patients, including evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their appropriateness for hand therapy and develop individualized treatment plans to improve function, mobility, and relieve pain.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer treatment using various modalities, including physical agents, manual therapy, and functional training, to improve patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor occupational therapy assistants and technicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in hand therapy to maintain expertise and provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Washington State OT license.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OT, CHT certification from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission.
  • Considerable experience in hand therapy and certification in Hand Therapy.
