Key Responsibilities- Engage customers through personalized interactions, offer product recommendations, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Support inventory management by accurately completing point of sale and merchandise disposition practices.
- Participate in daily service processes, including register balancing, change orders, and replenishing supplies.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- No prior retail experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Must be 16 years of age or older, with flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous client-facing experience in retail or a related industry.
- Ability to perform the accountabilities listed above.
- Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs.
- Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
- Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
- Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
- Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
- Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull on a frequent basis.
- Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
- Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
- Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
