About the Role

This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-paid life, AD&D, and critical illness coverage, short-term and long-term disability, HSA and FSA options, 401(k) match, and rich paid time off benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible and accountable for performing the nursing process as a basis for patient care.
  • Provide direction and oversight to licensed and non-licensed staff.
  • Show compassion through integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, and professional excellence.
  • Affectively assess care needs, develop a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassess the plan according to care needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide and coordinate nursing care to individuals and groups.
  • Assist in the teaching of families and provide milieu management.
  • Educate families/significant others in discharge/aftercare planning needs.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff in both individual and group settings.
  • Document, report, and verify all necessary information according to established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report any potential risk to patient safety that could lead to an adverse outcome.
  • Maintain professionalism and initiate and maintain positive relationships with departments, co-workers, and external customers.
  • Provide care in various clinical settings with diverse populations.
  • Identify specific patient needs and implement patient-centered, compassionate care.
  • Function as a clinical leader, delegating/coordinating staff assignments and promoting staff development.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with:

  • Licensed to practice in the state of Michigan.
  • Prior experience in behavioral health or mental health.
  • Ability to provide culturally inclusive care with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community setting.
