Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to receive, store, and stock items, create flower arrangements, assist customers, and wrap plants and flowers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  • Use a U-boat to retrieve inventory from receiving and place it in the floral cooler.
  • Make arrangements, help customers, wrap flowers and plants, and inflate balloons as needed.
  • Keep the department and cooler clean.
  • Track and record losses.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively to complete job duties and comply with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
  • Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as physical base scores for this position.
  • Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used to perform this job.
  • Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
  • Must meet company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
  • Must agree to wear proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
  • Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
  • Must have keyboard skills.
