Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neurology

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurology team in Tucson, Arizona.

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions
  • Assesses and coordinates patient care plans with the healthcare team
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders
  • Monitors and records patient condition as appropriate
  • Participates in discharge planning and coordinates patient care

Requirements
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association and others as required by individual department
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association, Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Continuing education requirements as defined within the CARE program. Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Nursing
  • One (1) year as an RN in Neuro Tele environment
