Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent healthcare to our patients, working closely with our physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients achieve good outcomes and are satisfied with their experience.
- Treat patients, address their concerns, and educate them on their injury, progress, and probable outcomes.
- Supervise aides in providing modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients, and assist with general setup and cleanup duties.
- Re-evaluate patient progress, revise treatment plans, and reset goals as needed.
- Determine when to discharge patients and ensure timely and accurate documentation, including discharges and daily progress notes.
- Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, depending on the number of referrals and patient types.
- Contribute to the development of protocols for common diagnoses and participate in research studies supported by the clinic.
- Continuously develop your skills by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses.
Qualifications
- Minimum Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant Degree.
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license.
