We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Addiction Psychiatrist to join our team at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. As a key member of our department, you will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of addiction and developing innovative treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct clinical research in addiction psychiatry, with a focus on psychopharmacology and non-invasive neural stimulation.
- Collaborate with our team of addiction scientists to design and implement Phase II and Phase III clinical trials.
- Maintain extramural grant funding to support your research initiatives.
- Develop and execute research objectives through independent projects or team collaborations.
- Communicate research findings to diverse audiences through presentations and publications.
- MD/DO degree
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Board eligibility in Addiction Psychiatry
- 0-3+ years of post-graduate experience, with a track record of research success
- Publication record demonstrating expertise in addiction neuroscience
- Experience with successful project initiation and completion in cellular, molecular, or systems neuroscience
