Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg team as a travel nurse RN Med Surg. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with an experienced team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and individualized care to patients with diverse medical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs, identifying areas of concern and developing tailored care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Patient Care: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols. Monitor vital signs, lab results, and clinical progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding the plan of care and any changes in condition.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a current RN license, experience in Med-Surg nursing, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. A strong understanding of patient-centered care principles and evidence-based practice guidelines is also essential.
