Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for young children with autism, focusing on gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ABA, speech, and psychology specialists, to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to enhance their skills and support their career growth.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate with team members and families to ensure seamless care.
  • Partner with families to develop goals, build relationships, and provide ongoing support and coaching.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure to practice occupational therapy.
  • Preference for candidates with 3+ years of experience, but new OTs are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young children and their families.
