Choral Conductor

The School of Music at Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in Music (Choral Conducting). Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting two Georgia Tech choral ensembles, providing excellent choral instruction, and teaching a wide variety of musical styles and traditions while emphasizing vocal health.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position include:

• Conducting two Georgia Tech choral ensembles
• Providing excellent choral instruction of a wide variety of musical styles and traditions while emphasizing vocal health

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have at least three years of experience leading vocal ensembles, knowledge and ability to teach a wide variety of vocal genres and styles, and the ability to engage students in experiential learning activities and pedagogy that support student success.

Estimated Salary Range:
$80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
