Academic Gastroenterology Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Luminal Gastroenterology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and a focused clinical interest in one of our key areas, including microbiome science, inflammatory bowel disease, or the use of artificial intelligence in endoscopy.
The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in general gastroenterology and a proven track record of clinical service, research, and teaching. They will also have demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines, engage in national GI professional societies, and publish research in top-tier journals.

About the DivisionThe Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Minnesota offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of clinicians, researchers, and educators. Our division is committed to providing academic tertiary care, with established fellowships in gastroenterology and hepatology, as well as an advanced endoscopy fellowship and a hepatology fellowship.
We have state-of-the-art facilities, including newly built clinics and endoscopy suites, and opportunities for continued development through educational conferences, CME, and collaboration with top specialists.
QualificationsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have a strong background in gastroenterology, including a minimum of three years of residency in internal medicine and three years of fellowship in gastroenterology. They must also be board-eligible or certified in gastroenterology and have the ability to receive work authorization in the United States.
Applicants must also have a strong record of clinical service, research, and teaching, as well as demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines and engage in national GI professional societies.
