CT Technologist Job Summary

The pay range for this position is $38 - $52.00 based on direct and relevant experience.

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology in the Federal Way area.

Our Outpatient Centers with CT are located in Federal Way, Renton, Lakewood, and Puyallup. We offer flexible scheduling, including dayshifts, evenings, and weekends, to accommodate your needs.

As a CT Technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce high-quality images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.

You will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the scanning process, providing excellent customer service and taking a patient-centered approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for scanning imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Adjust scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect yourself, patients, and coworkers.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform scanning procedures independently.
  • CT certification.
