Diesel Technician

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing Service Department team at Kansas City Peterbilt, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine and chassis repair, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of heavy and medium-duty diesel engine and chassis repair.
• You will work closely with our experienced service technicians to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.
• You will also be involved in preventative maintenance services, including routine inspections and maintenance tasks.

• Perform all aspects of diesel engine and chassis repair, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and certifications to ensure that your skills are current and relevant.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and chassis systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
