We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to contribute to our team at Ascendion, a prominent law firm in Dallas, TX. Our firm specializes in insurance defense and litigation services, with a focus on delivering exceptional legal representation and achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have experience handling insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and insurance coverage disputes. They will be responsible for defending clients in court and working closely with insurance carriers and adjusters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas in good standing.
  • 2-8 years of experience practicing insurance defense law.
  • Strong litigation skills, including courtroom experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience handling a variety of insurance defense matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and construction defect cases.
  • Familiarity with Texas civil procedure and rules of evidence.
  • Prior experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters.
  • Trial experience or experience second-chairing trials.
