Psychiatric Nurse

The Empath Health team is seeking a skilled Registered Psych Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes. As a PRN Registered Psych Nurse, you will play a vital role in helping patients manage their behavioral health needs and achieve optimal well-being.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience working with patients with behavioral health needs. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key responsibilities of the PRN Registered Psych Nurse include:
- Performing initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of patients' needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Counseling patients and their families on disease management and prevention strategies
- Initiating and revising care plans as necessary
Requirements for the PRN Registered Psych Nurse position include:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the respective state
- One year of home health care experience preferred
- Specialized training and/or experience beyond the standard curriculum required for a registered nurse
