Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at N2S Healthcare Staffing Solutions, LLC. As a Travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of transesophageal studies with cardiologists, calculating appropriate measurements, and sterilizing probes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing transesophageal studies with cardiologists, calculating appropriate measurements, and sterilizing probes.
  • Record statistics and perform daily maintenance of the Echocardiography Lab and its equipment, reporting all malfunctions as appropriate.
  • Act as a resource to other staff, physicians, and students regarding equipment, techniques, procedures, and studies to optimize patient care.
  • Work closely with cardiac sonographer quality coordinators to ensure adherence to quality processes and protocols, and assist with ICAEL accreditation activities as delegated.
  • Implement protocols as new technology evolves, and ensure implementation and adherence to system echocardiography standards.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Graduation from an accredited program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
Experience

Less than 1 year of experience is preferred for this role.

Certification/License/Registration

You must have:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS in 30 days of hire or transfer
