Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathology Assistant to join our team at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the gross description of surgical specimens, including selection and submission for histological, microbiological, and other specialized testing.
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of laboratory performance.
Requirements
  • 2 years of prior Pathology Assistant experience required.
  • ASCP-PA certification required.
  • First-time travelers accepted.
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, with additional details as follows:

  • I9 or Attestation required.
  • Copy of a valid government-issued Photo ID required by the contract.
  • Everify or Attestation required.
  • Physical Exam required within 12 months of start.
  • Fit Test completed onsite during orientation, updated annually.
