Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Aerotek. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, locating, scrapping, storing, and transporting materials used in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure uninterrupted production flow of materials
  • Notify Supervisor or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
  • Maintain equipment including safety check sheets
  • Execute picks for internal delivery to production cells
  • Pack, load and unload a variety of conveyances to and from trucks and material storage locations within the warehouse and manufacturing plant
  • Perform material movement and record all moves to proper location
  • Operate power industrial equipment (ex. Tugger, Stand-up, sit-down, order picker and forklift trucks)
  • Validate order accuracy prior to delivery to production cells
  • Complete daily inspections and record any unsafe conditions on power industrial equipment
  • Operate an RF Smart scanner

Requirements:
