School-Based Occupational Therapist Job Details:

  • $37.50 – $40 per hour
  • 15-week contracts

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to work at a partnering school district in Buffalo, New York. As an Occupational Therapist, you will develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results, evaluating students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services.

You will collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals. Additionally, you will work collaboratively and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians. Your schedule will follow the school district calendar, and you will provide occupational therapy services according to student IEPs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • New York Occupational Therapist License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
