Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Mason City, Iowa.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation
  • Promote continuous quality improvement
  • Teach and counsel patients/families
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
