We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Stepdown department at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care to ICU Stepdown patients, including those with complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
- Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
