Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Parkland Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Collaborate with our team to provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and timely communication to ensure optimal patient care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire or Compact License when applicable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification within 3 months of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree in Nursing.
- One year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting.
