As a dental hygienist with GoTu, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing dental health services to patients, including prophylaxis, oral cancer screening, and radiographic studies
• Preparing patients for treatment, including welcoming, seating, and draping
• Providing information to patients and employees, answering questions and requests
• Maintaining instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment
• Selecting materials and equipment for dental hygiene visits
• Completing dental prophylaxis, cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins
• Detecting disease, including oral cancer screening and radiographic studies
• Arresting dental decay, applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold an active dental hygiene license in IN
• Have knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Understand HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Have excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health care practice
