Cashier Representative

At New Century Mazda, we are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling cash transactions and operating a cash register.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist customers with questions and concerns, and refer them to the service consultant or other appropriate individual as needed.
• Attend training classes as directed by supervisor to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash transactions.

Working Conditions:

Frequently works on a computer or performing other tasks that require close vision. Finger and hand dexterity required to operate a cash register and handle cash. Occasionally requires the ability to lift 20 pounds of material.
