Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of products throughout the production process. This position is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative testing, auditing against industry standards, and collaborating with the QA Manager to implement quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular quality inspections, audits, and testing to ensure products meet industry standards and company expectations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and management, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including testing results, audits, and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of QA experience in a laboratory setting or 2 years of manufacturing assembly line experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to stand for 90% of the time, move packages weighing up to 25 lb, and work in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.
Working Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
