Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at Now Health Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all common areas, including hallways, lockers, sanitation rooms, and production areas.
- Operate various equipment, such as floor scrubbers, power washers, and explosion-proof vacuums, to assist with sanitation duties.
- Assist production personnel with changeovers and workstation cleaning.
- Remove and dispose of trash and clean garbage bins.
- Check soap titrations and water temperature in tote washers.
- Refill soap, sanitizers, paper towels, and other personal protective equipment.
- Assist with continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for quality and sanitation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience in manufacturing sanitation environment, preferably food or pharmaceuticals helpful
- Prior forklift experience preferred
Working Environment
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with direct exposure to ingredients, mixes, equipment, and packaging. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud, and in some areas, louder hearing protection is required.
