Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician will undertake a variety of responsibilities within the residential community:

  • HVAC Systems: performing repairs, maintenance, and replacements
  • Plumbing Services: overseeing repairs, component replacements, and installations (sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.)
  • Carpentry Work: executing repairs and installations of doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
  • Painting and Finishing: managing drywall/plaster repairs and painting tasks
  • Electrical and Appliance Maintenance: addressing lighting, wiring, power circuits, and replacing switches, lamps, etc.
  • Machinery Maintenance: responsible for the upkeep and repair of chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Providing exceptional customer service is crucial in this role

Qualifications:

The ideal Maintenance Technician should meet the following qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property
  • A High School Diploma/GED is required. Significant experience may substitute for educational requirements
  • Preferred certifications may include HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing based on property needs
  • A valid driver's license may be necessary depending on property requirements
  • Essential skills: self-motivation, teamwork, communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, customer service, and personal accountability
