The Juicing Production Associate plays a vital role in supporting the Juicing Department Manager with the pressing and bottling of fresh fruit and vegetable juices. This position focuses on efficiently preparing beverage items according to established menus, ensuring quality and consistency while adhering to food safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and bottling of juice products.
  • Follow food safety protocols in compliance with local health regulations.
  • Maintain proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
  • Keep accurate records of production and waste.
  • Utilize knife skills proficiently in food preparation.
  • Adhere to standardized recipes to maintain product quality.
  • Support the Juicing Department Manager in managing production schedules.
  • Help with inventory and supply orders for the department.
  • Engage with customers, providing information and recommendations on juicing products.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, practicing a 'clean as you go' approach.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs with care.

Qualifications

  • Food Safety Certification required within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a food service setting.
  • Experience in retail customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Experience with heavy-duty juicing equipment is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

This position is part-time, with a maximum of 30 hours per week, and reports directly to the Juicing Department Manager. The Juicing Production Associate is expected to contribute to the overall success of the Juicing Department by performing any necessary tasks to ensure smooth operations.
