We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Elliot Health. As a key member of our Women's and Children's Services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our pediatric patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the emotional, educational, and recreational needs of hospitalized patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to enhance the quality of patient care and promote a positive hospital experience.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support to children and families.
- Provide education and support to patients, caregivers, and families on various aspects of pediatric care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of child life services.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Child Life Specialist required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human growth and development, education, or psychology.
- Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification preferred.
