Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the emotional, educational, and recreational needs of hospitalized patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to enhance the quality of patient care and promote a positive hospital experience.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support to children and families.
  • Provide education and support to patients, caregivers, and families on various aspects of pediatric care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of child life services.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a Child Life Specialist required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human growth and development, education, or psychology.
  • Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification preferred.
