Job Summary

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Cape Vincent Correctional. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the health and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patient health problems, performing health assessments to identify new symptoms or complications.
  • Administer medication and manage restorative or palliative care for patients with various health conditions.
  • Teach and counsel patients on health maintenance and prevention of illness or complications.
  • Contribute to an interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing expert advice on health-related matters.
  • Execute medical regimens as prescribed by licensed physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Licensure in New York State and a minimum of one year of work experience post-licensure.
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to perform EKGs and blood draws.
  • Ability to work miscellaneous shifts, including evenings and potential midnight coverage.
  • Flexibility to work up to 2 weekends per month.
