Sheet Metal Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Craftsman to join our team at Atlantic Constructors. This role involves fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products using relevant equipment such as plenums, fire dampers, and diffusers.

As a Sheet Metal Craftsman, you will work on various projects, including HVAC systems, and be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products, including ducts, fittings, and other components.
• Work safely and comply with applicable health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and construction machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, required methods, and materials, using blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components to products or to repair sheet metal items.

• 2+ years of experience in the sheet metal field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Familiarity with ductmate, spiral, slide, and drive ductwork.
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Must pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e., DMV, criminal history).
• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Must be available and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned.

• Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
