Job Description

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead studies, planning, design, licensing, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Exelon's electric generation, transmission, distribution, gas, and telecommunication facilities/systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in electrical engineering principles and practices, with experience in maintaining state-of-the-art engineering credentials.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and perform assignments in specialized areas requiring advanced engineering expertise, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, codes, methods, and practices.
  • Evaluate, develop, implement, and lead projects with significant financial and operational impact, incorporating initial commissioning plans and detailed technical documentation.
  • Participate in department planning through field/site walkdowns, attend meetings/conference calls, provide budget recommendations, and monitor performance for committed results.
  • Provide expert guidance to others on complex electrical and mechanical systems, problem-solving approaches, and engineering theory.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • 7+ years of professional engineering experience, with thorough knowledge and experience in unique areas of electrical engineering expertise.
  • Ability to apply advanced engineering principles to identify and resolve complex issues, analyzing and interpreting complex electrical and mechanical systems.

Salary and Benefits:

The annual salary range for this position is $99,200.00 - $148,800.00, with a 15% annual bonus for eligible positions.
