Job Overview

Access Dubuque is in search of dedicated Culinary Professionals to support our dining operations during the upcoming season. Our Culinary Services Cooks engage in both standard and specialized food preparation tasks, including cooking meals to order and crafting unique dishes. In this role, you will also mentor and oversee student workers, respond to inquiries, and share insights regarding food preparation and related processes.

As a key member of our Culinary Services team, you will take the lead in maintaining cleanliness, conducting inspections, and ensuring the proper upkeep of kitchen equipment and workspaces. All staff members are expected to comply with federal, state, and local food safety regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in food service
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
