We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a key member of our pediatric care team, you will provide exceptional clinical nursing care to children enrolled in our local KIDS FIRST clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the nursing process to manage patient care problems of a complex and changing nature.
- Assume accountability and responsibility for all aspects of care for assigned group of patients, with respect for developmental level and age-specific issues.
- Administer medications and treatments and perform procedures according to UAMS and KIDS FIRST policies.
- Evaluate children to identify signs of illness or injury and intervene appropriately.
- Maintain current and accurate records and ensure confidentiality.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
- Valid RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years Registered Nursing experience or 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong work ethics and accountability.
- BSN or MSN.
- 3 or more years nursing experience.
- Pediatric Care experience.
- Current BLS.
