We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Department Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for promoting an exceptional customer experience, leading a team of Associates, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Experience: Create a positive and engaging experience for all customers, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Team Leadership: Lead by example, train, and mentor Associates on front-end principles, personalizing the customer experience, and promoting loyalty programs.
- Store Operations: Assign registers, support POS coverage needs, coordinate breaks, and ensure Associates execute tasks according to store plan.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities, and providing progress updates.
- Adaptability: Respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations, prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Availability: Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Merchandising: Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and ability to multitask.
- Communication: Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Leadership: Team player with ability to train others and lead by example.
- Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
