Job Summary

LBH-Sinai Hospital Rapid Response is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team in Radiology/Cardiology. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT scans and other imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities
  • CT Scan Procedures: Performs CT scan procedures using prescribed techniques, ensuring optimal diagnostic images.
  • Requisition Review: Reviews requisitions to ensure completeness, verifying patient information and adjusting equipment as needed.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilizes standard positioning techniques to obtain optimal diagnostic images, selects appropriate protocols, and ensures proper levels of density and contrast.
  • Scan Completion: Completes examinations in a timely manner, orders IV and oral contrast, and documents administration and scans in Cerner.
  • Scanner Maintenance: Maintains scanner equipment, including GE and Siemens models.
  • Experience Requirements: Requires experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. Preferred experience in aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and PET/CT.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, with consideration for first-time travelers.
  • Certifications: Required certifications include BLS, AART, and AART advanced certification. Must have an MD license.
Work Schedule

Day shift, with varying days and 40 hours per week.
