ACLS Instructor

We are seeking a skilled ACLS Instructor to join our team at Mercy College of Health Sciences. As an ACLS Instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to students taking Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses.

• Teaching and Guidance: Provide high-quality instruction and guidance to students taking ACLS and/or PALS courses.
• Classroom Preparation: Ensure that the classroom and supplies are prepared for each class.
• Teaching Criteria: Follow the teaching criteria outlined by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Miscellaneous Duties: Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

• Certifications: Be a certified ACLS and/or PALS provider.
• Teaching Experience: Have the ability to teach at a minimum of 1 class per month.
• Training and Development: Be able to attend an annual, mandatory skills training/maintenance and sign-off session.
• Availability: Be available to work evenings and weekends.
• Preferred Qualifications: Have previous teaching/training experience.
