We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach maximum performance levels.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement physical therapy programs involving exercise, massage, heat, water, and other modalities
- Evaluate and record patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Utilize various mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as prosthetic and orthotic devices, to support patient rehabilitation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg is a 100-bed Level IV Trauma Center general acute care facility offering a range of medical and surgical services, including pediatrics, obstetrics, and skilled nursing. Our hospital is committed to providing high-quality care to the residents of Kleberg, Brooks, Kennedy, and southern Nueces counties.
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Knowledgeable of the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and the Guide to Physical Therapy Practice
- Excellent communication skills
- Current license by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Examiners
- CPR certification (American Heart Association)
